This week’s get messy journal entries are all about courage. My son just added this word to his vocabulary so I thought it was a fitting focus for us to create around.
First Page for Week Two
The first page I created on my own. It contains one of my favorite quotes about courage.
“Have the courage to say no. Have the courage to face the truth. Do the right thing because it is right. These are the magic keys to living your life with integrity.” – W. Clement Stone
Second Page for Week Two
The next page talks about Emmett learning the word courage and has a painting of his he made after learning the word. Not sure if it could be considered “illustrating” the word but he had fun painting it. And art looks different to everyone.
About the Challenge
Get Messy is an art journal challenge where a gang of crafty vixens are sharing art journal pages we have created to practice our skills and push past our creative limits with hopes to inspire. We share our pages without restraint every week, and once a month we create around a prompt. Go check out these crazy talented ladies creating pages who each have a unique perspective and style. We will be sharing our work around social media so follow the hashtag #getmessyartjournal.
