Secrets of Snow

SECRETS OF SNOW
A Week of Snow Discovery for You and Your Little Explorer

Snow is magical. It brings to mind so many wonderful things: snowmen, igloos, tobogganing, snowball fights, hot coco… Kids love it, and some parents (like me) do too. Not only are snow days fun, they also create a spectacular learning environment. A couple months ago, I asked you all what questions your little ones have about snow. A lot of the questions pertain to “Why is it winter and no snow?” I absolutely agree. Ice-cold weather should always be accompanied by snow in my opinion. Unfortunately Mother Nature does not always agree 😉

APPLYING OUR LESSONS IN YOUR HOMESCHOOL

If you are a homeschool parent, you can definitely apply our posts this week to your winter unit lessons however you would like. You can adapt them to your child’s level of experience in math, science, reading, writing, etc… In fact, I’d love to see how you apply them. Just tag your pictures and posts on Instagram and Twitter with @Pinecone_Grove and #PGLessonPlans. If you have any questions, you may email me at pineconegrove@gmail.com
